Italian culture is world famous and adored. Italian language is one of the most fascinating, melodic and increasingly studied around the globe. But what if you could combine the two in one incredible week?
NOW there’s Spaghetti Language: an exciting experience for foreigners to learn Italian and really bite into the local life!
During the course at Casa Netural there are no blackboards or desks; just fun, practical lessons about Italian language taught through non-formal methodologies.
By embracing the local southern Italian community of Matera – the historic UNESCO listed sites, the smells of the marketplace and tastes of handmade pasta and wine – Spaghetti Language students will learn and practice their skills among local friends. There’s an indoor part too, but no matter where they are, students LEARN BY DOING!
Spaghetti Language is for you if:
- you love Italian language (and have a base knowledge - A1/A2 level);
- you are enamoured by the southern Italian culture, food & traditions or;
- you want to live an authentic experience with locals.
Who will guide your journey? Mariateresa Paolicelli and Candice Keller.
Mariateresa is an energetic language teacher, passionate about non-formal and playful methodologies. She relates with others in a fun manner and wants to discover the wonderful corners of her home region of Basilicata. She has launched various language courses and works as host for Casa Netural.
Candice is a curious Australian journalist who is in love with Italy, and in particular Matera. She likes to tell and share stories from around the world in different languages. She is also learning the Italian language and will help you to see this crazy Italian culture with new eyes!
