Residency program:
September 23 - October 20 (2024)
Andrea Spera
Area of interest: social agriculture, health care, communication.
Biography: An expert designer in service/user experience, Andrea Spera is the creator and coordinator of the project “DAS - A Dialogue for Social Agriculture.” A campaign aimed at supporting the inclusion of Social Farming practices as an innovative tool that integrates agricultural, social and health policies in the health budget program in the Tuscany Region.

Diego Alatorre
Area of interest: Gaming and participatory design.
Biography: Born and raised in Mexico, Diego Alatorre is an emerging industrial designer, teacher and researcher. He holds a Master of Science degree from the Technical University of Delft and is currently in the final year of his PhD at the University of Coimbra. His work explores the link between games and education through participatory design.

Vesna Todorowski
Area of interest: Recycling, business and environmental sustainability.
Biography: Founder of KRAFTING, a company that focuses on enhancing traditional crafts through innovative and socially inclusive projects. She has experience in developing and implementing social innovations that use crafts to improve local communities.

Nadia Kherrati
Area of interest: Cultural accessibility, urban regeneration, regenerative agriculture.
Biography: President of the Re_Esistente Cooperative Society , working on the transformation of a visitor center in the heart of the Monte Sole Historical Park into a Cultural and Collective Imagination Center. Goal: to transform an underutilized structure into a socio-cultural garrison, creating income and economies in the area to serve the community and its (bi)dreams.

Angelo Cagnazzi
Area of interest: Cultural accessibility, urban regeneration, regenerative agriculture.
Biography: President of Ozono Factory Aps, an association based on the synergy of three fundamental elements: participation, accessibility and gratuitousness. Among the main objectives: to value diversity and encourage the mixing of artistic languages; to support creativity through cultural experimentation; to enhance the richness of places and work synergistically in the city, metropolitan suburbs and inland areas; to ensure the accessibility of events and workshops; to take root, within the territory as a cultural identity that can combat degradation and foster the historical memory of places, inclusion and social innovation.

Soraya Sanchez
Area of interest: Social change and transformation.
Biography: Project Leader of The Languages of Energy, an organization that fosters social transformation and personal development through art, sound, food and healing to generate truly meaningful change that increases people's health and well-being.
Ashoka Spiritual ChangeMaker, Co-Chair of Catalyst 2030 Spain (SGDs), Director of the IDG Hub (Inner Development Goals) of the Basque Country (Spain), Member of the Conscious Food Systems Alliance (CoFSA), convened by UNDP; and the UNESCO Basque Network of Art Education for Social Transformation.

March 31 - April 27 (2025)
Lidija Pisker
Area of interest: Art and social inclusion.
Biography: journalist and researcher, Lidija writes about society, minorities, culture, travel and everything in between. Her stories have been published in The Guardian, Open Democracy, Euronews, Equal Times, BBC, Transitions. She has authored research studies on social inclusion, education, and media sustainability for the European Training Foundation, UNICEF, IREX, and SembraMedia.
When not writing, she volunteers at Naš most Zenica, a nonprofit organization focused on the social inclusion of vulnerable groups, such as the elderly, women, people with disabilities, and children, through art and culture. The goal is to promote the well-being and empowerment of these communities, using creativity as a means of expression and social connection.

Goals:
- To generate the development of a collective creative process by trying to produce new development projects and visions for the area, involving businesses, citizens and Third Sector organizations.
- To educate the local community by strengthening the skills and abilities of the local stakeholders through non-formal learning or the transmission of a methodology.
- Connecting local stakeholders, developing local partnerships and collaborations between different actors in the area.
- Transform the social contexts involved, through the introduction of new working methods and inclusive and innovative processes.
How to participate:
During each residency, several meetings are held between innovators, innovators and communities.
Attendance is free, with a warm invitation to participate extended to all citizens, administration, businesses and associations to work together to brainstorm critical issues and possibilities for development in the area.
